Kent Family Update!!

Hey everyone! Sorry it has been awhile since I have blogged! We are staying very busy with two toddlers and potty trainning. Cooper is 2 1/2 now and he is just talking up a storm, asking tons of questions and just as funny as he can be, Caylee will be 17 m at the end of June! She is talking like crazy learning new words to say daily, thanks to her big brother! They both love to be outside every chance they get and help with the garden, Cooper loves tractors and still into Mickey Mouse and Caylee is into baby dolls and dress up! Now to Adam and I... we are both staying busy with work as usual! We are just trying to keep up with the kiddos! Here are some recent pictures of the kiddos!

Halloween 2009 was a blast! We went to the Fall Festival at church and then went to the Pumpkin Patch to get some pictures. Cooper was Mickey Mouse, his FAVORITE and Caylee was Minnie Mouse. We went and trick or treated some good friends and family houses. kids did great and Cooper loved his costume and didnt want to take it off when we got home for the night. Caylee was a trooper. This being her The first Halloween, she did great getting in and out of the car and keeping her mouse ears on. I have to say they were the cutest Mickey and Minnie Mouse I have ever seen! Here are some pics from our day!

Hey everyone!! Sorry for the lag in my blogging! Here are some updates on the ever changing Kent Family.

Cooper is 21 months and growing like a weed. He is talking up a storm and learning new words and phrases daily! He can say the alphabet, count to 10, name animals and their sounds, knows all his family members names, LOVES books, balls, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Elmo and his John Deer Tractor. He is amazing in every sense of the word and we have enjoyed watching him grow! He is all boy and his daddy's shadow!!

Caylee is 1 week shy of being 8 months old. She is growing by leaps and bounds! She is a very happy little girl. She is crawling now and pulling up on things and walking behind push toys! She is babbling and cooing and saying mama and dada (which we love hearing). She is LOVES her brother and follows him all over the house. She has a very sensitive side to her. She loves to give hugs and kisses! She is such a delight to have!!

Now to Adam and I. We will be married for 6 yrs in less than a month! Wow! God has blessed our marriage in so many ways, with 2 beautiful children, some really great friends and a wonderful family that is there for us always! We are staying very busy with work and

A couple of weekends ago we went to DeLeon to see Great Granny Melba and to go to the Peach and Melon Festival. All of our family was there and Cooper and Caylee had a blast playing with their cousins and seeing Granny Melba. Here are some pictures of that day!

Hey everyone!! Sorry I have not blogged in a while! Here are some updates on the kiddos!

Cooper is 20 months now and talking up a storm. He is so much fun. He copies everything we do and makes us laugh all the time with all the things that he comes up with. I have really enjoyed watching him grow and become this wonderful little boy. He LOVES to be outside and he is just all boy in every since of the word.

Caylee is 6 1/2 months and growing like a weed. She is almost crawling and I mean so close that it makes her so mad that she just lays down and rolls over to get to the toy she wants. She is eating solid foods and really likes them. She is babbling and cooing like crazy. I love having my little girl and she is just growing up so fast.

Adam is staying very busy with work like always. The good thing is that he is home a lot now,but he will be traveling again soon. I am still enjoying my job. I am learning new things about my job everyday. Overall we are doing great,very busy,and completely loving life !!

Fourth of July~

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July. We did, we mostly just stayed around the house and relaxed and had some great family time. On Friday we went to DeLeon to see great granny Melba and I am so so sorry didnt get any pics at the visit. But it was great to be there and for here to see the kiddos. Then Saturday we went to see the fireworks down at the river and both Cooper and Caylee did really well. They both fell asleep on the ride over there and we woke them up right before it started. Cooper really like the big ones that were far away and got scared at several that were being popped around us. Which it actually made me kinda nervous also. But we had a great time. My mom, Shelby, Amy,Cade,Adam,the kids and I all watched it together. Here are some pictures of that night!!

My 26th Birthday Party !!

Well for everyone who wants to know I just celebrated my 26th birthday on June 29 and we went to Don Carlos and had just a great time with some great friends and family. My cake was AMAZING !! If someone would have asked me back in high school or even several years ago, where and what do you see your self doing at age 26, I would have probably said for sure married with a good job and maybe even 1 child. Well I am married to the love of my life Adam and I have the 2 most beautiful children Cooper and Caylee and I also have a wonderful job. I am so blessed beyond measure and so undeserving of it all. It is with Gods grace and love that I have all these blessings in my life today. I must say that turning 26 is not as bad as I keep thinking it was going to be, in my mind all I could see is that it is even close to 30. Wow time has flown and I would not change anything for the world!! Thank you to all my friends and family that made my birthday so very special.

Zoo Trip

A couple of weekends ago we took our first family trip to the zoo. Cooper had a blast and Caylee slept through the majority of it. We had so much fun !! Cooper named tons of animals and made their sounds which was really cute. It was really fun watching his reactions to everything and all the animals that he saw. I am sure that we will be going back really soon since he had so much fun. I now can't wait for Caylee to understand and like the zoo like her big brother did. Here are some pictures of that day. Busy Life !!

Hey everyone, sorry it has been awhile since I posted last, but I am very busy now with my new job. Which is going great ! I am still really enjoying it and love the people that I work with. We are all doing great, Adam is still working in Waco, but will be traveling again soon. Cooper is growing like a weed!! He is talking up a storm and learning new words and phrases all the time. He says mommy,daddy,sissy,ball,dog,cat,cow,truck,car,Gigi,la la,paw paw,bear,whats this,mine,uh oh,oh no,shakes his head no and yes,hello,bye bye (waves),water,milk,juice,more. He just talks all the time and it is just so wonderful to watch him grow. He love to be outside and go everywhere with his daddy !! Caylee is getting big. She is a chunk of love. She is 4 months now and rolling over,smiles at everything and everyone. She watches her brother's every move and studies everything that she looks at. She is grabbing for things and bring what ever she gets in her hand to her mouth. She is just wonderful!! We are just busy and loving life right now!!

Update on my new job!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that my new job is wonderful. I have really enjoyed it so far and I really like the people that I work with. It is really different from my last job and that is a good thing. It is a challenge that I am excited about having on a daily basis. God has blessed me with this job and I know that great things will come from it. Continue to pray for me, for wisdom and encouragement to the people that I work with, patience, compassion, understanding, continued excitement about this new journey for me.

Adam and the kids are doing great. Cooper and Caylee are growing like weeds. Adam is still very very busy with his job.

Look at our garden!!

We planted our garden several months ago and we are now beginning to see the fruits of our labor, well my husband and father in laws labor. I entertained our kids while they tilled and planted the seeds. We planted corn, onions, cauliflower,lettuce, bell peppers, green beans,peas, tomato's, jalapenos,brussels sprouts,squash,potatoes,watermelons,cantaloupe's,okra, red and white radishes. We have been able to eat some of the lettuce, which was really good and in the picture that Adam is in he is holding up a white radish. I can not wait to see everything blossom and grow. I will keep you updated on everything that comes along.

First family walk

Tonight we went for a walk, our first as a family of four. Everyone really enjoyed it. Cooper talked the entire time and pointed to flowers and trees, dog and the cute little rabbit that we saw. We walked to my mother in laws house, the road that we live near is being widened and they have added a sidewalk and so we decided to see how long it would take us to walk there and back before dark. It took 45 min. It was a great walk, spending time with my hubby and my babies on a beautiful spring afternoon, what else could I ask for.

New Job

I just wanted to tell everyone that I got a new job at Providence. I am the new office coordinator for the Dr's office of Dr Pietsch, Dr Duchamp, and PA Mark Roberts. My first day is May 11, 2009. I am very very excited to start this new journey and see what all it has in store for me. I was not actually looking for a new job, this job kinda found me. Adam and I prayed for days over this new job and me leaving Hillcrest. I know that this is going to be a wonderful opportunity that I could not pass up. I know that God has a plan for me and he is testing and growing my faith with this move. Please keep me in your prayers for wisdom and courage while I take on this new job and responsibilities of an entire clinic.

The kiddos are great by the way. Cooper is saying new words and phrases daily, here is some of what he is saying. Mama, daddy,door,dog,cow (moo),baa baa (for sheep),ma (milk),down,up,get down,I do it,shoe,GE GE, LA LA,ball,sings deep and wide ( favorite song),side (for outside).He is just growing so fast !! Caylee is 3 months now and she is growing fast. She can hold her head up really good now and she smiles and coos at you when you talk to her. She is almost rolling over, if she can get her arms in the right spot she will be rolling over soon. Adam is also doing good, he is staying busy with work and all. Glad that he is going to be home for a while !! Overall we are very busy and happy watching our kiddos grow.

Here are some updates on the kiddos.

Cooper is now 16 months. He is growing so fast. Cooper is talking up a storm. He now says mama, daddy, up, get down, uh oh, stinky, oh no, ball, dog, bye, Gi Gi, all gone, thank you, amen, ma ( milk ), he sings deep and wide, tries to snap his fingers, tries to do the movements to the itsy bitsy spider, waves bye bye to everyone, blows kisses, mocks everything that we do. He is such a joy to watch learn new things daily.

Caylee is about to be 3 months. She is moving more and more daily. She grabs at her feet, and grabs for things that are put in front of her. She smiles at you when you talk to her. She is getting her laugh and personality. She is rolling to her side now and I am pretty sure that she will be rolling over really soon. She still has her head full of beautiful brown hair. She is her mommy and daddy's pride and joy.

Adam and I are doing great. Adam is home for a while, traveling every now and then, but for the most part home. Thank goodness!! I miss my hubby when he is gone. We are enjoying being mommy and daddy to the two most beautiful kids!! We are really loving watching them grow. God has blessed us in so many ways!

Hey everyone !! Sorry it has been a while since I last blogged! Today my mom and I took both Cooper and Caylee to the Dr this morning for their check ups. Here are the stats on both !!

Cooper will be 16 months on April 7. He weights 23 lbs. He is talking up a storm, here are some of what he says, mommy,daddy, dog, baby, go, door, bye bye, up, milk (ma), Gigi ( Granny), uh oh, oh no, no, he copy's everything we do. He tries to snap his fingers, laughs when we laugh, makes the same gestures as we d0 when we make them. He is still in to all kinds of balls and going out side to play with his new puppy Bear. He is in to pushing buttons on everything that he can. Let me just sum him up in several words. He is a true TODDLER and ALL BOY !!!!

Caylee was 2 months on March 28. She is 10 lbs and 6 oz. She will smile at you when you talk to her, she laughs also. She can hold her head up really well now and she is trying to roll over. She is a wiggle worm, she moves constantly when she is a wake. She is starting to grab for things and she studies everything that she looks at. She is growing and getting more beautiful everyday!!

Yesterday we went to De Leon, TX to see Great Granny Melba and our cousin's Karen, Elizabeth, Austin, Gracie and our Aunt Sherri and Uncle Jerry. The kids did really good and Cooper had a blast playing with everyone. We are so glad that everyone finally got to meet Caylee Anne!!

Let me tell you a story about our trip, Well everyone knows that it has been raining here and all. Well on the drive to De Leon went pretty well. It didn't rain on us the way there, but on the way back was a completely different story. It was a down poor the whole way back. We hydroplaned several times which scared me and my mom to death and then when we would pass 18 wheelers going the other way, they would spray water all over us and we couldn't see a dang thing. Which was really scary. The kids slept right through the whole ordeal. I was grateful to get everyone home safely.

Hello!! Here is an update on the kids.

Cooper is now 15 months. Growing like a weed and as always into everything. He learns something new everyday, it is amazing to watch him. Here are some words he is saying now. Mama, Daddy, dog, door, bye bye, ball, oh no, uh oh, thank you, milk. He knows where his eyes,nose,ears,mouth,belly button are and he will point to yours also. He gives the best hugs and kisses. He loves to be outside and loves to throw his baseball and basketball, soccer ball all over the house ( don't worry they are all soft so they can't hurt anything or anyone). He is just all boy and we are loving every minute of watching him grow.

Caylee is 5 1/2 weeks. She is growing she weights 9 lbs 4 oz. She is stretching out and moving around a lot more, still very alert and looks and studies everything that looks at. She will smile at you know when you talk to her. Which is such a great feeling. her little way of showing that she loves you. We have really enjoyed our little girl and we cant wait for her to really start showing her personality more.

Hey everyone ! I am just updating yall on Caylee and Cooper !!

Cooper is 14 months and just amazing ! He is running everywhere and getting very independent and into everything. He is talking up a storm, here are a few words he says.. Mama, daddy, milk, dog, baby, thank you, bye bye ( he waves also), door, ball, up. You can ask him where is eyes, nose, mouth, ears and belly button and he will point to them. He is just getting so big, my baby is not a baby anymore he is a toddler now ! It is so fun watching him learn new things and learning new words. He is ALL BOY !!

Caylee will be a month old on the 28, which I can't believe. At her 2 week check up she weighted 8 lbs 2 oz and was 20 1/2 inches long. She is growing ! She is eating and sleeping very well still. She loves to be very very warm and still loves her bouncer and swing. She smiles now when you talk to her. She is very alert and looks around at everything, just like her big brother did. She is starting to move around more and just stretch out. I am loving being able to dress her in cute outfits and putting bows in her hair ! She has been so fun !!

Hey everyone ! Sorry it has been a while since I blogged last. So let me catch you up on our busy busy life !

Cooper has turned one and just all boy! We had his birthday party with great friends and family. Also in Dec. he had tubes put in both ears, and has done very very well with them. He is talking up a storm and just into everything. But we wouldn't have it any other way. He is such a joy to have and we love watching him grow and learn new things daily. Here are his stats... he is 14 months, 23 lbs 36 in tall, eating all kinds of food.. favorite is fruit, he has 14 teeth. He loves to be outside and loves throwing balls around my house. He loves his soft baseball and basketball, hopefully he will be a great baseball player like his daddy!! He is just growing up right before our eyes. He is just a happy and full of life little boy ! Oh by the way Cooper is a big brother now ! He loves his baby sister !!

Well our newest addition Caylee Anne Kent was born on 1-28-09! She weighted 7 lbs 10 oz and was 19 3/4 in. We are so excited that she is finally here! She has a ton of brown hair and looks like her mommy ! She is a good sleeper and eater. She loves her bouncer and her swing. She is just a wonderful baby and it is wonderful to see Cooper react to her. He kisses and hugs her, says baby and points to her. When she cries he tries to give her, her passy and loves on her to try and calm her down. She is such a delight to have and we are getting used to PINK everywhere !!

Now to Adam and I.. We are adjusting to life with 2 kids and all the joys and challenges that brings. Even with all the late night feedings and all have been fine. We are just loving being parents. Adam is staying very busy with his job and loving it. I am enjoying being at home with Cooper and Caylee. Wishing that it could last longer that 7 weeks. Hint hint honey ! Well I will hopefully get some pics on here soon and I promise that I will get better at blogging. Hope all is well with everyone and we can't wait for everyone to meet our little Caylee

Well I am very sad to report that Cooper has a double ear infection and now we are being sent to an ENT ( ear nose and throat ) Dr with in the next few weeks to see if he will need to have tubes in both ears or what our other options might be. He is cutting more teeth and with that comes the ear infections. That has been a normal occurrence since he started getting teeth. I am not a very happy mama right now. But who wants to see their little baby put under and have this or any procedure done. I know it is all in Gods hands and that he will be OK. Just keep little Cooper in your prayers !

Tonight we were eating dinner ( chicken and dumplings) and I was feeding Cooper and he was talking and eating and then I looked over and he was a sleep in his highchair. This is something that he has never ever done before. I mean he loves dinner time. He has done this several times at school, fallen asleep when they were feeding him lunch, but he has never done this at home. I had to take a picture to show you that no matter how good dinner is, sleeping is more important at times.

Well today I had a check up to see how Miss Caylee is doing. Well we are both GREAT and just growing right along schedule. I am 29 weeks and counting down the days till she is here. We are getting very excited. Her room is being worked on and we are picking out all her furniture and bedding and all the fun stuff that comes along with getting ready for a baby. I forgot that around this time in pregnancy what begins to hurt and just how uncomfortable I can become at times, but she is so worth every pain and discomfort.

Cooper is doing wonderful also. He is 11 months and we are getting ready for his First Birthday. I can not believe how fast this year has gone. I am so proud of him !! He is into everything. It has been fun seeing daily what he has learned to do and such. He can walk of course and he is saying mama, dada, uh oh, bye bye. He can wave, blow kisses and give big big hugs and kisses and high fives. He is just a delight to watch grow. He is learning some very funny facial expressions. I will hopefully soon post some of them. He is the joy of our lives !

Now to Adam and I ! We are both staying very busy and all. Adam is in Bryan right now working on a building and I am still working at the clinic, which it is becoming very busy since it is almost flu season. Other than that we are doing great and just getting ready for Caylee to get here and trying to keep up with a very very mobile toddler.

This was Cooper's First Halloween. He was a pony. Might I add a very very cute pony. For this being his First Halloween, he sure did very well with his costume and the trick or treating. I was very surprised that he so good. We went to my mom's and by the church to see La La and then to Aunt Amy's and Uncle Shelby's house and then we went by Nonnie's. Overall it was a great first Halloween for Cooper. Here are some pictures of my cute little pony !

Hey everyone, I am sorry that I am not a very good blogger, but I am going to get better at it I promise. Well here is a little update on the Kent Family. Well we found out that Cooper is going to be a big brother to a sister and her name is going to be Caylee Anne Kent and she is due 1 / 28 / 2009. We are very excited about this new addition to the Kent Family.

Now on to Cooper Don, well he is a 6 days from being 11 months and his First Birthday Party preperations are being made. I cant believe where the time has gone. It was like yesterday he was born and now here he is walking and talking. He started walking at 9 1/2 months and he can say mama, dada, thank you,bye bye,uh oh, and he can wave,blow kisses and give kisses and high fives. He is just growing and learning new things daily. We are so amazed at how advanced he is for his age. Well here are some pics of the big boy at a pumpkin patch that we took him to for his First Halloween. Enjoy !!

Cooper Don Kent was born on Dec. 7 , 2007. He was 8 lbs and 20 in long and he arrived at 7 : 00 pm . He was welcomed by many friends and family. Mommy and Daddy were very excited to have their little boy finally here. He was the perfect Christmas gift.
